Abstract

Description

This dataset obtained contains experimental and numerical vibrational response of a rotor supported by hydrodynamic bearings under controlled variations of oil flow rate, temperature, and unbalance levels. The experiments were conducted at LAMAR (University of Campinas) to acquire displacement signals representative of different operating and fault conditions. The numerical simulations were based on a finite element rotor model coupled with a mass-conserving hydrodynamic bearing model. The dataset captures the coupled effects of lubrication degradation, thermal variations, and rotor unbalance in a real system, providing a reference for analyzing the combined signatures of these fault mechanisms. It serves as a benchmark for validating model-based approaches and supports the development and assessment of advanced system identification and diagnostic techniques.
